Together we raised over £1200 in memory of Walter, to help Warwickshire Wildlife Trust buy land to rewild. In part thanks to our donations, Warwickshire Wildlife Trust has been able to buy land the size of 65 football pitches, to reclaim as high quality habitats for wildlife. The land is adjacent to Brandon Marsh nature reserve, where there is a brass plaque commemorating Walter’s life. More information is available at https://www.warwickshirewildlifetrust.org.uk/nature-reserves/sheep-field-and-clayhill-lane Thank you for helping us honour Walter and protect wildlife in the Midlands.

Walter's family would like to thank everybody for their donations in his memory through this site to the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. With all of your kind donations, we have raised over £1200 and added a plaque to the memorial tree at Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve. The money will help the WWT do many things; buy land of low wildlife value, improve this land by restoring lost habitats and reconnect people with nature at a scale they have not done before. It will also help them create opportunities to help others do the same on their land and leave a lasting, positive legacy that everyone can enjoy. If you are in the Coventry area, pop along and visit the memorial plaque. Enjoy the nature! Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve, Brandon Marsh Nature Centre, Brandon Lane, Coventry CV3 3GW Thank you, everyone! Carol, Rosie, and Suzie
